NHS Welcomes New Members at Annual Induction Ceremony

On August 19, members of the National Honor Society (NHS) gathered to celebrate the annual NHS induction ceremony of the YISS chapter. The ceremony began with speeches from NHS officers, who outlined the society’s high standards and values. Following the address, new inductees took a pledge to uphold the NHS's esteemed principles and were presented with certificates and patches to mark their admission as members of the society.

Founded in 1921, the National Honor Society is a prestigious organization that recognizes high school students for their excellence in four key areas: Leadership, Service, Character, and Scholarship. NHS aims to recognize outstanding academic performance and personal qualities among students by selecting members who excel in all four pillars through a strict application process.

During the induction ceremony, 21 new members were inducted into the YISS chapter of NHS, which now has 64 members.
