Kindergarteners Prove They Are Made to Be Courageous
On Thursday, June 2, our three kindergarten classes along with their parents and guests gathered in the auditorium for the Kindergarten Promotion Ceremony. The theme of the ceremony was “Created to Be Courageous.”
Students performed several musical numbers under the direction of kindergarten music and art teacher, Mrs. Falgout. Several students also had speaking solos, coming to the front microphones to collaboratively perform poems of encouragement and thanks.
After performing, students took the stage one by one to be recognized for their achievement of completing kindergarten and give their teachers a high five or hug. Once each student had the opportunity to cross the stage, all three classes returned, donning special “courage capes” and performing some final songs.
The audience was also treated to a memory slideshow and a compilation of videos where the students demonstrated how to be courageous and do hard things. After the ceremony concluded, families enjoyed student and graduation cap-shaped cookies and a balloon arch photo zone.
Congratulations to our kindergarten classes of 2022! And thanks to all the parent and staff volunteers who helped everything run smoothly.
