Senior Zach Nam Recruited for Columbia’s Squash Squad
Columbia University recently announced that YISS senior Zach Nam is one of five new recruits for the Columbia men’s squash squad. Zach is an accomplished squash player who represented Seoul in the Korea Olympics, at which the Seoul squad placed second overall at the national event. Zach was selected to be in the starting lineup for the Columbia Lions and will join the team in 2021-22 after his gap year.
Not only has Zach earned the highest ranking of No. 13 in the US Boys U19 category, but he is also the winner of the 2019 William T. Ketcham, Jr. Award (Most Improved Boys U19 Player) and the recipient of back-to-back Boy's U19 US Squash Gold tournaments (December 2019; January 2020).
We want to recognize Zach for his exceptional squash skills and congratulate him on his many achievements on the court.
