ES Students Shine in Dance and Worship Teams

The ES Dance Team (Oasis) and ES Worship Team (NICS) bring energy and joy to weekly assemblies and chapels. These dedicated students perform regularly, practicing every Tuesday morning and Thursday during recess to perfect their routines.

This year’s ES Dance Team included Anna S. (4A), Isabel G. (4A), Anika N. (4A), and Liam L. (4A). They performed during assemblies, showcasing their commitment and talent.

The Worship Team included Jojo P. (4B), Eugenia S. (4B), Andy R. (4B), Dara K. (4B), Serafina S. (4C), Elena C. (4D), Eiley W. (4D), Sally K. (5B), Riley Y. (5B), JaeEun K. (5C), Victoria J. (5B), Yuna L. (5D), and Aaron C. (5D), and they performed during Chapel.

Both teams also participated in major events like the Christmas celebration, Easter celebration, International Bazaar (view the Dance Team’s performance and the Worship Team’s performance), and the End-of-Year assembly.

Being part of these teams requires dedication, leadership, and a servant's heart. Students practice diligently to ensure their performances are special for their peers and embody the school's values.

Isabel Garner from the Dance Team shares, "I feel happy when I am dancing!" Liam Lim adds, "I want people who are not encouraged to dance, to dance." Worship Team member Serafina Sampan says, "Worship is important because God saved us, and worship is the way to say thank you." Dara Kang reflects, "I’m not doing this to brag or be proud. I’m doing this so that I can tell Him by dancing that I want to be His follower forever."

The teams’ efforts highlight the power of performing arts and worship in uniting the community, making them an essential part of the ES experience.
