MS FallFest Provides Friendly Competition and Fun

On November 19-20, the MS PTO and MS staff worked together to host FallFest, a fun two-day event of activities and special prizes for our MS students. Organizing and executing a major school event is always challenging, but the COVID-19 restrictions made it even more so. The purpose of FallFest was to congratulate our MS students for their hard work during these unprecedented times and create a place for them to have some fun!

The planning team had to be creative as heavy rain pushed the activities indoors. The end result looked great with various stations set up inside and around the gym, including a campground scene in the gym lobby.

Festivities began with pumpkin pie during lunch and then, in the afternoon, students were placed in small groups to rotate through six booths: charades, a photo booth, water balloon toss, box hockey, human tic-tac-toe, and candy grams. Students played for a chance to win their choice of Baskin Robbin's ice cream. The candy grams that students signed up for were sent to their friends on November 25-26.

We thank the MS parent volunteers and the MS teachers and staff who helped organize the event! We couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks for your flexibility and support!
