On Thursday, December 5, the middle school and high school choirs, under the direction of Ms. Sommer Page, joined together with several band members and the high school orchestra, under the direction of Mrs. Lynelle Harding, to celebrate the Christmas season by performing a joyous cantata revisiting the reason why Jesus Christ was born into the world. The performance was a combined effort as Ms. Esther Jeon worked with all ensembles and Mrs. Brittany Ludwig prepared the high school band members. 

The cantata, Sing Christmas, arranged by Joel Raney and Mary McDonald, included well-loved seasonal music from around the world and some newly arranged energetic and dynamic pieces giving praise to Christ the King. The choral, band, and orchestra ensembles performed excellently! The audience members clearly enjoyed the sing-a-long of familiar carols and hope that everyone left with a renewed joy and excitement for Christmas.
