Dear YISS Families,
Greetings and welcome to the 2022-23 school year! I hope that you and your family have had a restful and relaxing summer.
I want to thank you for your continued support and trust in us as a partner in your child’s continuing education. We believe the relationship between parents and educators is a crucial component to children’s development and holistic growth. All of our staff members remain committed to creating a positive learning environment that fosters academic, spiritual, and social-emotional growth.
We are eager to meet your child and will provide them the utmost care and attention. We believe that each student is made in the image of our Creator and therefore has indisputable value and potential. Our teachers and staff are excited to continue motivating students toward the pursuit and discovery of their passions and God-given talents. Our desire is that you will join alongside us as we continue our efforts towards these endeavors.
Teachers will be sending out their welcome letters by Wednesday, August 3. Please be sure to join us for our ES Orientation on Friday, August 5 (see times below). This orientation is designed for both new and returning families. Orientation exists to present parents and students with the opportunity to visit classrooms and meet homeroom teachers. Our desire is that this will inspire confidence in our students as they begin their school year having already been introduced to their learning environment.
We are thrilled to welcome students on campus very soon. We also look forward to meeting you and working with you as we learn and grow together in the coming school year.
All the best,
David Benedict
