During the 2022-2023 season, the JV boys experienced a substantial amount of growth as a team and as individual basketball players. The boys finished the season at 5-7. The record does not show how close many of these games were and how they fought back and forth with each team. Four of the seven losses this season were less than a five-point spread, and in many of them, the Guardians led for most of the game. Some key wins this year for the boys happened against their rivals SFS and a buzzer-beater win against Chadwick, who they had lost to early in the season in overtime.

There were many players who stepped up throughout the season including Andy, who played almost every minute of every game, and Sky, who was crucial in getting key rebounds. Overall, the season was very enjoyable, but there is still much improvement to be made in order to finish close games and pull out the wins. The JV boys should be very proud of their accomplishments this year, and we look forward to seeing more from them in the seasons to come!
